Counseling:
We provide counseling services to individuals and families: cognitive behavior psychotherapy, clinical evaluations for DUI, substance abuse education, and crisis intervention. We can provide you with resources and referrals. We schedule by appointment only and have a sliding scale.
Education:
Parent University
We provide these workshops to schools, churches, and organizations. Topics include Bullying, Peer Pressure, Grades, and Anxiety, Bridging the Gap with Communication, Parenting Styles, Appropriate Social Media, Declining Failing Grades, and Helping your Child Succeed Academically.
Anti-Bullying Programs
We produced a film called “Bullied” and this is a tool we use to discuss Cyber Bullying, Peer Bullying, and Gang Bullying. We can do a workshop at your organization, school, or church.
Survival Skills
This is our Life Skills Workshop. The classes are 3 hours per session and there are 10 topics: Assertiveness, Personal Health, Nutrition, Money Management, Child Management, Self-Advocacy, Legal Rights, Coping with a Crisis, Community Resources, and Job Readiness. Each workshop has a pre and post-test, and certificate of completion are provided.
Case Management
We provide case management to the State of Georgia for Foster Care Home Studies. Our Case Managers have been certified through the SAFE Program to provide home visits and psychosocial assessments. We are available for all Metro Atlanta counties.
